DECEMBER
CEO's of Corning, Kodak, and Xerox signed letters of intent to invest in ITC.

2001

JANUARY
Governor Pataki announced ITC as a NYS Center of Excellence in Photonics and Microsystems.

2002

OCTOBER
First $8 million NY State capital grant transferred to ITC.
NOVEMBER
ITC building in Canandaigua, NY purchased from Xerox Corporation.

2004

MAY
ITC Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held; building renovation complete and MEMS Fab equipment installed.
SEPTEMBER
Infotonics opened its doors for business.

2005

FEBRUARY
Novel MEMS Prototypes delivered to Thermal Gradient in just 16 weeks.
JUNE
Thermal Gradient received $3 million grant award from DHS.
NOVEMBER
First two high-tech spin-off companies launched: SensiVida and SpectralSight.
DECEMBER
ITC had first 12 patents in process.

2006

JUNE
NY State Center of Excellence (CoE) Audit completed for ITC.
DECEMBER
ITC business plan approved by NYS, ESDC BoD.
DECEMBER
ITC had 24 patents in process.

2007

JANUARY
BioScopix high-tech startup company launched.
FEBRUARY
BioScopix received $1 million VC investment.
FEBRUARY
ITC received $1.4 million CoE operating funds grant.
AUGUST
MEMS Packaging Lab installation completed.
SEPTEMBER
SpectralSight received Phase II SBIR Award.
