The goal of clean room activity at ITC is to run the most efficient possible processes and generate the greatest product yields. To accomplish this, we employ a full complement of in-line metrology equipment to monitor all the thin-film parameters that effect performance: thickness, index of refraction, resistivity, permittivity, stress, composition, etc. In addition, general optical and electronic testing capabilities are used in the early stages of device characterization to develop more device-specific tests.
