Manufacturing performance.

The performance of MEMS, optical, and microfluidic devices is directly related to the ability to model devices, packages, and processes. At ITC, we have an extensive capability in design and simulation including software for modeling the mechanical, optical, thermal, and fluidic performance of device designs. Furthermore, packaging designs can be modeled for optical alignment tolerances and thermal and mechanical stresses, all of which greatly impacts device performance.

Our alliance with IntelliSense Software Corp, a Boston-based MEMS design tool leader, enables us to develop MEMS and nanotechnology prototypes and move technologies into high-yield and low-cost commercial markets quickly and efficiently.

Computer Aided Layout and design checking will be available for both devices and packages. Although in-house photomask writing is not typical, photomask designs can be ordered through ITC and delivered to the wafer fab.
