Tailoring Surfacing Properties

As components are reduced from macro to micro and nano-scale, the ability to control surface interactions becomes critical. We offer technologies that can create a hydrophobic or hydrophilic surface on metals, semiconductors, ceramics, glasses, and polymers.

Molecular Vapor Deposition, using an AMST MVD 100 tool, deposits nanometer thick coatings that are hydrophobic or hydrophilic. Uses include:
